Traditionally, the finest shaving brushes have always used Super Badger hair, the highest grade available. Super Badger hair is finer than the hair used in most other brushes, meaning more individual hairs are required resulting in a very dense yet soft feeling. Because these hairs are thinner, it also means that extra care must be taken to keep the brush in top condition; the brush should be properly rinsed under warm water after use and stored upside down in a dry area.
